Hi everyone! This weekend I am participating in the Fall into Books Hop sponsored by Candlelight Reads. As part of this blog hop, I will be giving away a kindle copy of A Time to Die, the debut YA dystopian novel by Nadine Brandes!
I love fall. It’s my most favorite season! Pumpkins, bright colored trees, cool weather, apple festivals, and corn mazes. I love it all 🙂
Fall is also a great time to curl up with a good book and a steamy cup of my favorite hot drink (tea, hot cider, cocoa, coffee, you name it). My favorite place to read is under a large maple tree in a pile of leaves, or on the back porch in the warm, fall sun.
What book would I be reading? Something new or something old. Maybe I would reach for my Anne of Green Gables collection or one of Jane Austen’s works. Or maybe Lord of the Rings. Or one of the books I just received a couple days ago: A Time to Die by Nadine Brandes or Orphan’s Song by Gillian Adams (I’m so excited to read these).
How about you? Where’s your favorite place to read? And what is that special book you want to fall into again and again?
Now for my giveaway for a kindle copy of A Time to Die: Rafflecopter giveaway
Parvin Blackwater believes she has wasted her life. At only seventeen, she has one year left according to the Clock by her bedside. In a last-ditch effort to make a difference, she tries to rescue Radicals from the government’s crooked justice system.
But when the authorities find out about her illegal activity, they cast her through the Wall — her people’s death sentence. What she finds on the other side about the world, about eternity, and about herself changes Parvin forever and might just save her people. But her clock is running out.

Sounds intriguing. I’ll have to put it on my wish list. :D. By the way, the link for the rest of the blog tour doesn’t go to the right place. 🙂
Hmm, I worked for me. It didn’t take you to a list of blogs?
Ooh! I’ve been wanting to read this book! 🙂
My favorite place to read is my room, or the recliner in our living room. I’ve been wanting to reread the Castaways of the Flying Dutchman by Brian Jaques.

Ooo, I haven’t read the Castaways of the Flying Dutchman. But I do love the Redwall series 🙂

I just received my copy last week and I can’t wait to read it!
A Time To Die sounds like a good read. I would like to read this book. Thank you
My pleasure 🙂
Yay, book giveaway!!! I’m not a huge fan of dystopian because of the dark, but at the same time am attracted to it because I want to find the light at the end. Going to give this book a shot!
Favorite place to read: either in our little library shed or on the couch with our little dog.
How on earth is a person supposed to choose ONE favorite book? 😀 That’s like trying to choose a favorite sibling or child…
One of my top ten rereads is definitely the Follower of the Word series. 🙂 As a matter of fact, I do believe I’m going to begin on Daughter of Light again in a moment…
Thanks for the giveaway!
God bless :).
Thanks, Symona 🙂 I’m currently working on the edits of Heir of Hope, which will be releasing Spring 2015!
I have a recliner in our bedroom. I like to curl up with a drink (hot or cold, depending on weather), my book or nook, and Buddy, our Maltipoo curled up nearby.
Thanks for the giveaway.
I love to cuddle with my furry friends when I read as well 🙂
My favorite place to read is down on the fishing dock with a light breeze blowing across the water while waiting for the fish to bite.
That is a great way to spend your time while waiting for the fish to bite 🙂
I love to read and have read and reviewed over 270 books this year. I don’t go back to too many repeat books because there is always something new out there that grabs my interest. I haven’t gone a single day this year without reading, if not an entire book, at least a few chapters, even with company or on vacation!
