Hi! Welcome to the Spring in Your Step Blog Hop. As part of this blog hop I will be giving away a $10 Amazon gift card (details down below)
So who is ready for spring to come? Tired of the snow and cold weather? What is your favorite part of spring?
I love flowers and gardens. The moment I don’t have to worry about frost, I’m at my local nursery picking out plants. This year I’m even more excited because we just moved into a new house with built in flower boxes, many flower beds, and a raised garden spot. So excited!
Along with gardening, I also love to bike. In my hometown we have a paved trail that runs the entire town. This is especially nice since I bike with my kids. There is nothing like a warm day with the wind in your face, racing along with your kids and enjoying the scenery.
So how about you? What do you look forward to the most in the spring? Getting outside? Barbequing? Planting flowers? Share in the comments. I would love to know!

The best part of spring for me is getting rid of the heavy coats and looking forward to shorts and T-shirts, watching wildflowers blossom near the highways, feeling the warm sun.
I love wildflowers! Anything from the mountain meadows in the Cascades to the wild sunflowers that appear all over Kansas 🙂
I, too, am looking forward to Spring and Summer. We have purchased a new home in Florida and are trying to sell the one in Muncie. We look forward to new friends and new adventures. (And the scenery down there is absolutely beautiful!)
I didn’t know you moved to Florida! Sounds like it’s going to be a great adventure for you, Barb 🙂
My favorite part of spring is the flowers. They’re so beautiful after a blah winter.
I agree 🙂
I just discovered spring about four years ago when I moved to Missouri. Previously I’d lived in California (the “perpetual summer” part) and Idaho (the “snow and mud” part.) Spring was practically foreign to me, although I didn’t know it.
So, for three glorious years of living in Missouri, I discovered I love planting flowers, finding out the names of budding trees, making lemonade and homemade salsa, and taking long warm walks. *sigh*
Yum 🙂
Cleaning up the yard is a chore that I really like.
Same here. Today I hope to go out and get my garden spot ready, rake up the leaves for the mulch pile, and inspect the flower beds.
I am looking forward to spending time outside for sure. We just moved so I am looking forward to picking out new landscaping and plantings
That’s the fun part about moving, at least for me. New landscaping and plants 🙂
I am looking forward to getting outside and getting to work on some new plantings and landscaping at our new house.
The warmer weather and the flowers are my favorite parts of springs. And this year I have plans to redecorate my bedroom including painting the walls, so I could really use some nice warm weather right about now. Of course, it was snowing earlier today. Guess I’ll have to wait a bit longer. 🙂
Yeah, it’s always nice when you can crack open a window when painting 🙂
I love the smell of spring, the warm weather, the flowers & trees and the start of garage sales of course! 😉 I, however, hate the allergies….sniffle, sneeze, sniffle.
Yes! Garage sales!
lounge outside and reading. long walks and working in my garden.
I love long walks. My family either bikes or takes walks after dinner almost every night.
I can’t wait til warm weather. 🙂
Same here. I like winter, but I’m done with the cold.
I love the warmer weather and the flowers, thanks for the great giveaway.
Same here 🙂
Thanks for the giveaway!
My pleasure. Thank you for stopping by!
I remember biking with the kids when we all were younger.
I love biking 🙂
I am most looking forward to getting out of the house this spring. It should be in the 80’s and all of my flowers should be in bloom.
Very nice 🙂
While the calendar says that it’s Spring here in Rhode Island we’re still waiting for the snow to stop falling and I’m looking forward to the day when the snow and cold weather are a thing of the past!! My favorite thing about Spring is that once again I can feel the sun on my face while watching the flowers starting to come out out of the soil while sitting outside in a comfy chair and reading!
I agree!
Warm weather. Sitting out in the sun in my hammock with a good book! 🙂
I love hammocks 🙂
I’m looking forward to the warm weather! This Winter has just dragged on for far too long!
I agree, Brooke 😉
like the flowers
Same here!
I love seeing all of the green things peeking up out of the ground and the blossoms starting. I am lucky in that we have mild weather so I am starting my veggies. Thanks for the giveaway!
I’m hoping to plant my veggie garden in a couple weeks!
I live in New England so spring is always welcome here, the sooner the better lol. Thank you!
Yeah, it takes longer for spring to arrive there. New England is such a pretty place. I have never lived there, but I have visited.
I like the nice weather . to bad it does not stay good weather in California long goes strait in to hot fast.

Yes it does, lol.
I can’t wait for the warmer weather and the trees and flowers to bloom Thank you for being in the hop. mrscrabbyfan at gmail dot com
My pleasure 🙂
My favorite part of spring is when it’s not too hot, and not too cold. And rainy days. Rain! 🙂
That’s in Kansas, though. I live there, but I also live in Africa. It’s complicated. 🙂

Sounds like it 😉 I also live in Kansas. I can’t wait for the thunderstorms! I love watching those. I’m originally from the Pacific Northwest and although we receive a lot of rain, we do not get a lot of thunderstorms.
I find it’s the reaction of people that I look forward to the most about spring. It’s fun to see everyone getting perkier, looking healthier (well, as long as they’re not allergic to pollen and stuff, heh). Also, the scenery, even if only in photos. A wonder to look at.
Thank you for this giveaway. Happy Spring!
Spring rainfalls. (Which here in California actually start in December.) I just love the smell of fresh earth.
I’d say I like spring temperatures best. Not super hot like summer. I like cool temps, but not so cool that I freeze! I’d also add flowers if I wasn’t allergic.
